Carrots are usually good for your eyes!

Did you know that the foods you eat have an impact on how well you see? To ensure that your eyes are healthy, it is important to consume plenty of lutein, which guards against macular degeneration and cataracts, and vitamins A, C, B6, and E. Avocados, carrots, broccoli, spinach, kale, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, and garlic are all excellent foods for maintaining optimal eye health. Conversely, overly acidic foods such as red meat, fish, fowl, eggs, sour cream, and cheese are bad for your eyes.
